Enrolment

Please do not attempt to enrol until you have received your confirmation letter and 'Getting Started at Kent' booklet from the University.

Students at Associate and Partner colleges will not receive a booklet and should enrol at their college before attempting to enrol with the University.

Brussels students should view the Brussels pages.

Enrolling at Kent

This step is essential for all students. You must enrol before you claim your IT account or register for modules. This should take no longer than 10 minutes.

Claiming your IT account

Your Kent IT account will allow you access to computing facilities on campus, remotely from your home, library or internet cafe. From Tuesday 5 August, you will also be able to access the Student Data System.

Arranging your fee payments

In order to fully register prior to your arrival, you need to arrange a method and system of payment. The Student Finance Guide will help you choose the best method for you.

Your accommodation agreement

If you've applied for University accommodation, you can view your room allocation from mid August 2008. It is important that you check this offer of a room and accept or decline it as soon as possible.

Medical registration

In order to receive treatment locally under the NHS you must register with a doctor in this area, as you will be resident here for the greater part of the year.
